Audience

The course is intended for users who wish to use MS Access to create databases with the intention of recording, treating, processing and retrieving data.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of databases is not required. Participants are however assumed to have a basic knowledge of Windows. A good knowledge of Excel is a great advantage.

Objectives

At the end of this course, students will: understand Access terminology; have insight in the possibilities of creating MS Access databases; be able to devise and set up a relational database.

Methods

Instructor-led classroom training with hands-on exercises and intensive interaction between instructor and students. Each student disposes of a workstation.
